  Three out of four car seats are installed incorrectly.  We believe this is unacceptable – so, in 2013, we introduced ClickTight, a game-changing technology that makes safe car seat installation as simple as buckling a seatbelt.

And our industry-leading Side Impact Protection...
  Side-on collisions make up one in three car crashes – therefore, offering superior side impact protection has always been one of our top priorities. We created the first car seat walls lined with energy-absorbing EPS foam in 1996. We set new standards for head and neck stability with the market's first energy-absorbing headrest in 2002. And in 2009, we designed America's first external cushions with energy-diverting compression.

And our standard-setting stroller maneuverability...
  We understand that active parents want to enjoy the best of both worlds – the freedom to move quickly on any terrain, as well as the ability to negotiate tight corners and city sidewalks with ease. So in 2005, wishes were granted with the BOB Revolution Stroller and it's revolutionary lockable, swiveling front wheel. BOB, now part of the Britax family of brands, offers active parents speed without compromise.

And our superior SafeCell Impact Protection...
  Because we don't settle for 'safe enough' our team of experts worked to create an integrated system of safety components that protect well beyond the federal safety standards for car seats. Launching in 2010, SafeCell's innovative technologies combine to provide exceptional energy absorption and movement limitation to protect your child better than ever in a crash.

Our Product
Britax designs and manufactures a complete line of child seats, including:

  • Infant car seats for use rear facing with children.
  • Convertible child seats for use rear facing and for use forward facing.
  • Harness-2-Booster child seats for use forward facing with a harness up to 90 pounds, and then as a belt-positioning booster seat for bigger kids.
  • Belt-positioning booster seats for use with children who weigh up to 120 pounds.

Britax also designs and manufacturers strollers, including:

  • Full-size strollers that are appropriate from birth and up.
  • Compact-fold strollers that are appropriate from 6 months and up.
  • Modular strollers that are appropriate from 6 months (or from birth when used with an infant car seat) and up and can accommodate up to 2 children.

While the safety and quality of our child seats and strollers are of paramount importance to parents and caregivers, we also recognize that these individuals value and appreciate the flair for style reflected in the design of all Britax products, as well as the high-quality, easy-to-clean fabrics used in our seat covers.
